The circumference of a circle (one lap in this case) is the diameter of the circle times *[tex \Large \pi].  Since *[tex \Large \pi] is irrational, the only way to have an exact representation of the distance is to leave the answer in terms of *[tex \Large \pi].  *[tex \Large 163\pi] is the distance once around.  You need to double that.
