Question 5034
{{{lim( x -> -2, (3x^2-12)/(x+2)) }}}

{{{3x^2-12 = 3(x^2-4) = 3*(x-2)*(x+2)}}}

{{{3(x-2)*(x+2)/(x+2) = 3(x-2)}}} except in point x=-2 where it is undefined.

this is a simple function with the obvious limit 3((-2)-2) in point -2.

It is simply a straignt line that "misses" one point. It is not a locally infinite curve of any sort.
