Question 347970
# 1

i) You can factor {{{6x^2-7x-3}}} into {{{(2x-3)(3x+1)}}}. Let me know if you need help with factoring.

ii) Use the quadratic formula solver found <a href="http://www.algebra.com/algebra/homework/quadratic/quadratic-formula.solver">here</a>

iii) Post this as a separate problem (there are a lot of steps). You can find a completing the square solver <a href="http://www.algebra.com/algebra/homework/Polynomials-and-rational-expressions/completing-the-square.solver">here</a>.

# 2

{{{3x-4+2y=0 }}} Start with the given equation.

{{{-4+2y=-3x }}} Subtract 3x from both sides.

{{{2y=-3x+4 }}} Add 4 to both sides.

{{{y=(-3x+4)/2 }}} Divide both sides by 2 to isolate y.

{{{y=((-3)/(2))x+(4)/(2)}}} Break up the fraction.

{{{y=-(3/2)x+2}}} Reduce.
