Question 345405
Hi,
Let {{{S[1]}}},{{{S[2]}}},{{{S[3]}}} represent the three sides of the triangle
.
Question states the following to be true:
Let {{{S[1] = (1/3)*P}}} and {{{S[2]= (1/6)*P}}}

Note: 1/3 = 2/6

{{{S[1]+S[2]= (3/6)*P}}} *That leaves 1/2 of the Perimeter for {{{S[3]}}} which is 10" long

{{{(1/2)*P = 10}}}
.
{{{P = highlight(20)}}}
.

Check your answer
.
Note: 20/3 = 40/6
10 + 40/6 + 20/6 = 10 + 60/6 = 20
