That depends. Is Billy, Danny, Frank, John, and Steve the same as Steve, John, Frank, Danny, and Billy? Or are they different teams?

If they are different teams, that is the order of the five players matters, then:

*[tex \LARGE\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \frac{n!}{(n\ -\ k)!}]

and if they are the same, that is, order does NOT matter, then:

*[tex \LARGE\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \frac{n!}{k!(n\ -\ k)!}]

Where *[tex \LARGE n] is the number of players on the roster, and *[tex \LARGE k] is the number on a team.

My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
