Question 344753
Hi,

Using the point-slope formula, {{{(y[2] - y[1])/(x[2] - x[1]) = m}}} to first find the slope(m) of the line
(3,2)and (-2, 4)
{{{(2 - 4)/(3 - (-2)) = m}}}
m = -2/5

Then the point-slope formula, {{{y - y[1] = m(x - x[1])}}}, with x = 3, & y = 2(for ex) will give the equation of the line by subsituting values

y -2 = -2/5 *x + 6/5
.
y = -2/5 *x + 16/5
