Question 343032
<font face="Garamond" size="+2">

I'm just guessing, but I think you mean:

<i>My number has a ones digit that is double the tens digit. The sum of the digits is nine.</i>

Going under that assumption, let *[tex \Large x] represent the tens digit, then *[tex \Large 2x] must represent the ones digit.

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ x\ +\ 2x\ =\ 9]

Solve for *[tex \Large x] to get the tens digit. Double it to get the ones digit. Construct your number.

John
*[tex \LARGE e^{i\pi} + 1 = 0]
My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
