Question 341260
Please help me solve this problem: In angle ABC, angle A and angle B measure exactly the same and C is half as large as angle A. Find the meaure of each angle.
-----------------------------
A + B + C = 180
A = B
C = (1/2)A
-----------------
Substitute and solve for A:
A + A + (1/2)A = 180
(2 1/2)A = 180
(5/2)A = 180
A = (2/5)180
A = 2*36
A = 72 degrees
B = 72 degrees
C = 36 degrees
