Question 4915
As I said in my answer to the last question, the volume of a cylinder is 3 times the volume of a comparable cone or pyramid.

Cylinder:  {{{V = pi* r^2* h }}}

Cone:   {{{V = (1/3) * pi* r^2 *h}}}

Because the cone comes to a point on the top (or bottom), it is only 1/3 what it would have been if it had been a cylinder.
