Question 334610
<font face="Garamond" size="+2">

The answer to your question depends partly on the definition of "whole number" that you have chosen or that your instructor/textbook/school/tutor/whatever has chosen.

<i>Whole number</i> means variously:

The non-negative integers:  *[tex \LARGE \{0,1,2,3,...\}]

The positive integers: *[tex \LARGE \{1,2,3,...\}]

All integers:  *[tex \LARGE \{...,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,...\}]

The "consecutive" part simply means following one another in uninterrupted succession or order. For example, 3 is the next consecutive whole number after 2. 4 is the whole number that precedes 5 consecutively. If *[tex \Large x] is a whole number, then *[tex \Large x\ +\ 1] is the next consecutive whole number.

*[tex \LARGE e^{i\pi} + 1 = 0]
My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
