Question 332762
I fail to understand your confusion.
A radicand is the number or term which is inside the radical sign.
{{{sqrt(50) }}}
Here the radicand is 50,
the square root sign is the radical
if you are asked to simplify
{{{sqrt(50)}}}
{{{sqrt(2*5*5)}}}
{{{5 sqrt(2)}}}
2 is the radicand
...
find the radicand of sqrt98* sqrt54
{{{sqrt98 = sqrt (2*7*7)= 7sqrt(2)}}}
{{{sqrt 54 = sqrt(2*3*3*3)= 3sqrt(2*3)}}}
..
{{{7sqrt(2)*3sqrt(2*3)}}}
{{{21sqrt(2*2*3)}}}
{{{21*2sqrt(3)}}}
{{{42sqrt(3)}}}
3 is the radicand

Hope you get it.
