Question 330620
<font face="Garamond" size="+2">

Anytime you have the pattern *[tex \Large \frac{a\ -\ b}{b\ -\ a}], it simplifies to *[tex \Large -1]

That is because:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ -(a\ -\ b)\ =\ -a\ +\ b\ =\ b\ -\ a]

hence:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \frac{a\ -\ b}{b\ -\ a}\ =\ \frac{-(b\ -\ a)}{b\ -\ a}\ =\ -1]

John
*[tex \LARGE e^{i\pi} + 1 = 0]
My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
