Question 329457
You can use synthetic division whenever you need to divide a polynomial function by a binomial of the form x - c.

Let c = -1

c - (-1) = c + 1

The coefficients are 1, 0, 1, 0 , 0, -2.

It will take me too long to type all the steps using synthetic division.

After doing it on paper, I got x^4 + x^3 + 2x^2 + 2x + 2 with no remainder.
