Question 329234
<font face="Garamond" size="+2">

The answer to your question depends a great deal on how much of your work you are required to show. I presume you mean "How do you convert..." I don't know how to "convent" anything -- unless it is nuns. But that begs the question, is 5 feet 5 inches with or without the wimple?

For example, if you only need the answer, open up Google and type in "5 feet 5 inches in cm" and then press the enter key. Google will dutifully provide you with an answer.

On the other hand, if you need to show all of your work, I would first multiply 5 times 12 to obtain the number of inches in 5 feet. I would then add this number to 5 inches to get the number of inches in 5 feet 5 inches. Then I would look up the number of centimeters in one inch (if nothing else is handy, Google "1 inch") and multiply it by the result of my previous calculation. Finally, I would round off appropriately.
