Question 37746
We first need to use the product rule for radical expressions to combine the terms.
So, because these expressions are contained by the same root symbol...
{{{ sqrt(5ab) * sqrt(10ab^2) }}}
Can be combined as...
{{{sqrt (5ab*10ab^2)}}}
Then...
{{{sqrt (50a^2b^3)}}}
Then we can simplify as...
{{{5ab*sqrt (2b)}}}
Because 50 = 25*2, the square root of 25 is 5, so that comes out and the 2 remains under the sq root symbol. The same thing happens with the variables.
And thats pretty much it.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck!
