For a square root, the abbreviation is "sqrt", and we write it this way "sqrt(x)".  Enclosed within 3 set braces, it looks like this {{{sqrt(x)}}}.


For a cube root, the abbreviation is "root" with 3 as the first entry.
For a fourth root, the abbreviation is "root" with 4 as the first entry.


We write them this way: "root(3,x)", which comes out like this: {{{root(3,x)}}},
or "root(4,x)", which comes out like this: {{{root(4,x)}}}.
