What equation? Equations have an equals sign in them somewhere. You have no equals sign that I can see. There are many things that you can do with an algebraic expression such as you have posed, but "solve" is NOT one of them.

Furthermore, you need to use parentheses to make your meaning clear. For example, does c^3/2 mean

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \frac{c^3}{2}], (in which case you would write: <b>(c^3)/2</b>)

or

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ c^{\frac{3}{2}}], (in which case you would write: <b>c^(3/2)</b>)?

John
*[tex \LARGE e^{i\pi} + 1 = 0]
