Question 319705
I'll do the first one to get you started.

ab means that you simply multiply 'a' and 'b' to get ab. So we could say that 'ab' means "the product of a and b". Likewise, 'cd' means "the product of c and d"

So ab=cd translates to "the product of a and b equals (or is the same as) to the product of c and d"
