Question 36938
Hello,
Since all the terms are summed, we can remove the parenthesis, to get:

{{{5x^3+8x^2-4x+3x^2+7x+1}}}

And now it's a matter of combining like terms.
Which terms contain x^3? We only have 5x^3
Which terms contain x^2? We have +8x^2 and +3x^2. So we get +11x^2
Which terms contain x? We have -4x and +7x. So we get 3x
Which terms don't contain any x? We only have +1.

So the result of this sum is
{{{5x^3 + 11x^2 + 3x + 1}}}

I hope this helps!
