Question 314055
Hello,
I'll do #3 for you. Let's see if you can do the rest of the problems.
6-6(x-2)= 3(3x+1) This can be rewritten as:
6-6x+12= 9x+3 Combine like terms and add 6x to each side to get:
18=15x+3 Now subtract 3 from both sides to get:
15=15x Divide each side by 15 to get:
x=1
The whole idea is to get x by itself on one side of the equal sign.
To check if it's correct plug the answer into the original problem.
Make sense?
