Question 313665
Help with logarithmic problems?
1. Rewrite as an equivalent logarithmic equation with out solving.
e^2=7.3891
:
Using natural logs
ln(e^2) = ln(7.3891)
:
log equiv of exponents
2*ln(e) = ln(7.3891)
:
The ln of e is equal to 1, therefore
2 = ln(7.3891)
or
ln(7.3891) = 2
:
We can check this on a calc: enter ln(7.3891)
;
:
2. Express as an equivalent expression that is a product.
logbt5
Not sure what this is, perhaps
logb(5t) = y
as the exponent equiv;
{{{b^y = 5t}}}
