Question 311667
Hello,
First draw out the trapezoid and drop a line straight down from the top end point to the bottom. Since we know the top is 30 then the bottom from the line dropped down to the end is 30. Now we can use the Pythagorean Theorem.
30^2+20^2=c^2 rewritten as:
900+400=c^2 Square root both sides to get:
c=36.06 rounded off
Now we can find the perimeter by adding all the sides to get:
146.06
Make sense?
See if you can do the next one.
