Question 310078
Two cars are travelling in the same direction; one car is going at 30mph and the other is going at 50mph? If the first car is 10 miles ahead of the second car, how long will it take the second car to catch up with the first?
----------------------
If the slower car is behind, it will never catch up.
If the faster car is behind, it's gaining at 20 mph (50 - 30).
10 miles/20 mph = 0.5 hours to catch up.
