Question 305866
I need to find radius of circle with given information - shaded area of circle is 40 degrees and area of that shaded area is 59in^2.
------
# of such sectors in the circle = 360/40 = 9
----
9*59 = 531 sq in (total area of the circle)
--------------------------
Solve for "r":
(pi)r^2 = 531 sq.in
r^2 is very close to 169.0225
r = 13 inches

I understand how to find area when given radius or diameter but need help with this. I'm working on Sector area and arc length.
