Question 303676
Given: {{{(A - C)*(A + C)}}}, where A = -1, B = 2, C = -3

-16 Is not the correct answer. I also noticed that B is not used in the equation. Using the equation that you have posted, this is the solution:
----------------
{{{(A - C)*(A + C)}}} Substitute
{{{(-1 - -3)*(-1 + -3)}}}
You must do the operations inside the parenthesis first.
{{{(2)*(-4)}}} Simplify
{{{highlight(-8)}}}
