i get stuck on this problem what are the consecutive even integers ? i did FOIL for the first half and the x times ten and got {{{x^2+4x+2x+8=20+10x}}} then combined like terms and got 
x^2+6x+8=20+10x

Subtract 20+10x from both sides to get:
x^2 -4x - 12 = 0

Factor:
x^2 - 6x + 2x -12 = 0
x(x-6) + 2(x-6) = 0
(x-6)(x+2) = 0

x = 6 or x = -2
