Question 300669
Starting today my company has 34 hours and $350 available per day to produce my Model A and B type bicycles and before they start I need to know how many of each model can be made in a day in production.
• Model A takes 2 hours to assemble and cost $25 per bike to make
• Model B takes 3 hours to assemble and cost $30 per bike to make
---
Equation:
Assembly time Eq:: 2A + 3B = 34
Value Equation::  25A +30B = 350
(Solve the equations for the different bicycle models that can be made daily with the desired technique learned (graphing, substitution, elimination, and matrix).
---
Modify the 1st equation to set it up for elimination of the "B" terms:
20A + 30B = 340
---
Substract that from the Value Equation and solve for "A";
5A = 10
A = 2 (# of Model A bikes to make)
---
Solve for "B":
2(2) + 3B = 34
3B = 30
B = 10 (# of Model B bikes to make)

Explain how to check your solution for both equations).
Check your A,B numbers in the time and Value equations.
