Question 297924
Can someone explain to me what I did incorrectly with the following problem.
(0.1x^6)(0.2x^4) I have the answer of 0.0016^6. My teacher advises to Multiply coefficients and then the variables. Can someone lay this out the correct way so I can compare to my work and make it click? Thanks again.

{{{(0.1x^6)(0.2x^4)}}}

Multiply {{{0.1}}} by {{{0.2}}} getting {{{0.02}}}

Multiply {{{x^6}}} by {{{x^4}}} getting {{{x^(6+4)}}} or {{{x^10}}}

So the final answer is {{{0.02x^10}}}
