Question 295617
The recipe calls for two types of flour. The problem asks for the total amount of flour needed for the recipe. You should add the two numbers and the sum will be a mixed number.
{{{2/3+2+ 1/5=2/3+11/5=10/15+33/15=43/15=2+ 13/15}}}
You are both wrong.
Your teacher is multiplying by the reciprocal which is dividing
{{{2 +1/5=11/5}}}
{{{(2/3)*(5/11)=10/33}}}
This is less than the {{{2/3}}} of white flour which would be {{{22/33}}}.

Your answer {{{37/33 }}}or {{{1+ 4/33}}} is less than the {{{2 +1/5}}} cups of whole wheat flour.
I have no idea how you got that number.
