You don't need the distance to solve.
r*t=d
r*t=r*t

The plane flew the same distance in both directions.
For 4 hours the plane flew with the wind pushing it. 
For 5 hours return the wind blew against the plane.

So set them equal.
(p+20)*4=(p-20)*5
