Question 290082
Having problems understanding how to graph a function example, h(x)=3-x they want to know if the function is even, odd, or neither

For the function to be even h(x) must equal h(-x):

h(x) = 3-x
h(-x) = 3 -(-x) = 3+x

So h(x) is not equal to h(-x) and h is not even.

For h to be odd -h(x) = h(-x)

h(-x) = 3+x
- h(x) = -(3-x) = -3+x

So -h(x) is not equal to h(-x) and also is not odd.
