Question 289675
The first thing you want to do is divide 2 on all sides because you want x by itself. Then you should get: {{{ -3<x<6 }}}
<-----------------o============o--------->
.............................-3.......................6

Note: Ignore the periods, because i typed it to make the numbers match the o's.

When the symbol is < or >, this means that the numerical answer in the inequality is not a solution for the variable. Thus, we graph it as an open circle. DO NOT make a dot and shade it in!

We can plus in integers for x to find where the solutions are on the line graph.
I used -2 and 5 for x.

Using -2: {{{ -3<x<6 }}} becomes {{{ -3<-2<6 }}} This is true because -2 is greater than -3 and less than 6.

Using 5: {{{ -3<x<6 }}} becomes {{{ -3<5<6 }}} This is true because 5 is greater than -1 and less than 6.

We can tell that the solutions are between -3 and 6. I hope this helps! :]
This is the graph:
<-----------------o============o--------->
.............................-3.......................6
