is it possible to simplify y = (2x+7)/sqrt(9-4x²)

Usually you would multiply numerator and denominator by sqrt(9-4x^2)
to get:
y = [(2x+7)*sqrt(9-4x^2)]/[9-4x^2]

That doesn't seem to "simplify" the problem but that'
is the standard procedure.

Notice: If that radicand was 49-4x^2 you could 
simplify and get: [sqrt(49-4x^2)]/[-(2x-7)]
