Question 286758
Let f(x)= 2x^3-6x^2+2x+11 / x^2-4x+5. This is a function of x
Rewrite in factored form: y = 2x^3-6x^2+2x+11/[(x-5)(x+1)]
-----------------------------
A) Find the natural domain of f
Domain: All Real Numbers except x = 5 and x = -1
--------------------------------------
B) Find the standard form of f
Not sure what you mean by that. Maybe they want you to
divide the numerator by the denominator so you can see
a slant asymptote.
-----------------------------

C) Find any straight line asymptotes of the graph y=f(x)
Vertical at x = 5 and at x = -1
Horizontal: none because degree of num > degree of denom.
Slant: possibly
