Let the base distance be "x"; then the antenna height is "x+10"
Use Pythagoras to get the equation:
EQUATION:
   base^2 + antenna^2 = 50^2
    x^2 + (x+10)^2 = 2500
   2x^2+20x-2400=0
    (x-30)(x+40)=0
   x=30  (length of base)
  x+10= 40 ft ( height of antenna)
