Question 284204
BIG TIP: POST ONE QUESTION AT A TIME OR ELSE NO ONE WILL REPLY.

1. sec/tan = csc

When playing with trig identities, convert everything to sine and cosine.

sec = 1/cos

tan = sin/cos

1/cos divided by sin/cos....This is a trig complex fraction, which must be reduced using the rules of elementary school fractions.

Multiply the top and bottom by the LCD.

Our LCD is cos.

(1/cos)(cos) divided by (sin/cos)(cos) = csc

1/sin = csc

csc = csc

Done!
