Question 282041
<font face="Garamond" size="+2">

If *[tex \Large d] is the measure of the diagonal, *[tex \Large l] is the measure of the length, and *[tex \Large w] is the measure of the width, then the length, width, and diagonal are related in the same way that the sides are related to the hypotenuse in a right triangle, namely:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ d^2\ =\ l^2\ +\ w^2]

which is to say:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ d\ =\ \sqrt{l^2\ +\ w^2}]

All you have to do is the arithmetic. Goodnight Mr. Pythagoras, wherever you are.
