Question 278298
log(25) + log(40)
One of the properties of logarithms, {{{log(a, (p)) + log(a, (q)) = log(a, (p*q))}}}, can be used to combine these two logarithms into one:
log(25*40)
which simplifies to
log(1000)
which, since {{{10^3 = 1000}}}, simplifies to
3
