Question 276140

Pythagoras says:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ c^2\ =\ a^2\ +\ b^2]

but that can be written:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ a^2\ =\ c^2\ -\ b^2]

Hence:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ a\ =\ \sqrt{65^2\ -\ b^2}]

So the first one:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ a\ =\ \sqrt{65^2\ -\ 16^2}]

You can work a calculator as well as I can. The others are worked exactly the same way, just change the value for *[tex \Large b].
