Question 33624
2)The volume of a cylinder (think about the volume of a can) is given by V = πr2h where r is the radius of the cylinder and h is the height of the cylinder. Suppose the volume of the can is 100 cubic centimeters.
-------------------------------------------
Actually, I think the formula is V=&#960r^2h
In the form of 'h':
V=&#960r^2h
(V)/(&#960r^2)=h
What is the measurement of the height if the radius of the cylinder is 2 centimeters? Suppose the volume of the can is 100 cubic centimeters.
(100)/(&#960*4)=h
about 7.9577 centimeters
c)	Graph this function.
Show graph here
First, you would have to choose your values for the (h)y-axis and (r)x-axis
Formula: (100)/(&#960x^2)=y
I do not know how to show a graph, sorry....
Just pick points for x and find the value for y
