Question 33559
SO THE NEGATIVE SIGN IS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE SQRT.

then the expression is -sqrt(x^2-10x+25)

first try to simplify the expression inside the rt.

          x^2-10x+25

there is a simple procedure to find the values of x and is given below
(factorise 25 and find 2 values of x,such that the product of
the 2 values gives u 25 and the sum of the values are -10,if u cannot do that u have to follow this formula {{{x = (-b +- sqrt( b^2-4*a*c ))/(2*a) }}})

but in this case u get values as -5 and -5,when u multiply they give u 25 and when u add them, they give u -10.

so this is written as
(x-5) and (x-5) ,put this value in the expression in the place of
   x^2-10x+25.

   therefore we get, - sqrt((x-5)(x-5))

        the answer is -(x-5) (because sqrt(a^2)=a,here sqrt((x-5)^2)=(x-5))
