Question 270837
um theres something wrong cause u cannot = v according to the 2nd equation for proof put in 0 for both u and v and you get 0=-4 which isnt possible. so im going to assume u meant that u doesnot = v.

here you need to use the slope intercept formula y=mx+b m=slope b=intercept
4u=2v-4
{{{u=(1/2)v-1}}} we will set u to the y-axis and v to the x-axis
{{{y=(1/2)x-1}}} looks familiar now
slope is {{{(1/2)}}}
y-intercept is {{{-1}}}
plot points:(0,-1)(2,0)(4,1)
_________________
4u=2v-4
{{{2v=4u+4}}}divide 2
{{{v=2u+2}}}
{{{x=2y+2}}}
slope is {{{(2/1)}}}
x-intercept is {{{2}}}
plot points:(2,0)(4,1)(6,2)
