Question 260735
Hello,
Let's have "x" be the first number. Now we can set up an equation to look like:
x+(x+4)=56 Combine like terms to be:
2x+4=56 Subtract 4 from both sides:
2x=52 Divide both sides by 2 to give us:
x=26 There we go, so the second number is? Right. 30! Do they add up to 56?
