Question 260690
All you need to know is the formula for finding the slope of a line.

That formula is this:

{{{(y[1] - y[2])}}}/{{{(x[1] - x[2])}}}

Hm. I wish I could make that look better, but let me just say that this {{{(y[1] - y[2])}}} is the numerator and this {{{(x[1] - x[2])}}} is in the denominator.

Ok, so your ordered pairs are: (-1,-1) and (0,0)

Therefore, you would just say:

{{{(-1 - 0)}}}/{{{-1 - 0)}}} which is
{{{(-1)/(-1)}}} which is
{{{1/1}}} or just 1.

Your slope, or your "m" is 1.

I hope this helps you. :-)
