Question 254111
Let the required number be xy
Given, tens digit of a two digit number is 3 less than the units digit
                 So, x = y-3   ...(1)
Also, the number is four times the sum.
                10x+y = 4(x+y)
                10x+y = 4x+4y
                10x-4x = 4y-y
                   6x = 3y
                   2x = y     ...(2)
(1)-(2)=>        x-2x = y-3-y
                   -x = -3
                    x = 3
Substitutimg in (1), 3 = y-3
                     3+3 = y
                       y = 6
Therefore the required number is 36
