Question 252426
The given equations are,
                  2/x + 3/y = 18 , 4/x - 5/y =-8
                  Put 1/x = X  and 1/y = Y
Then, we get   2X+3Y = 18 ---(1)
               4X-5Y = -8 ...(2)
   (1)x2=>     4X+6Y = 36 ...(3)
(2)-(3):  (4X-5Y)-(4X+6Y) = -8-36
           4X-5Y-4X-6Y    = -44
                     -11Y = -44
                        Y = -44/(-11)
                        Y = 4
Substituting in (1), 2X+3x4 = 18
                        2X  = 18-12
                         X  = 6/2
                         X  = 3
Therefore, we get X=3 and Y = 4
                  x = 1/3  and y = 1/4
This is the required solution
