Question 249576
Exponents/249576 (2009-12-14 04:48:15): I think I'm just confusing myself. What would (6y)^7 * (6y)^6 equal?
This should come out to:
{{{(6^7*y^7)*(6^6*y^6)}}}
{{{6^13*y^13}}} where 6 to the 13th power is a very large number
If you multiply variables by the same variable, you add the exponents!
You can also add the exponents for the numbers if the numbers match, as in this example. Hope that helps! :)
