Question 247453
 if i graph 4< -2y+3x i would simplify it to 1.5x+-2<4.
i graphed this and now i dont understand which sides of the graphs to shade.
-------------------------------------------
Solve for y:
2y+4 < 3x
2y < 3x-4
y <(3/2)x-2
---------------------
Graph the line y = (3/2)x-2. This is the boundary of the inequality.
{{{graph(400,300,-10,10,-10,10,(3/2)x-2)}}}
-----------------------------------------------------
Important: Since you want y to LESS than (3/2)x-2, hatch the half-plane
BELOW the boundary.
-----------------------------------------------------
{{{graph(400,300,-10,10,-10,10,y<(3/2)x-2)}}}
------------------------------------------------------
