Question 246202
I use the Chi-Sq test facility on a TI
calculator.
It generates a test statistic of
Chi-Sq = 14.7638
and a p-value of 0.0052
----
Comparing the p-value to the alpha=1%
I see that p is less than alpha so
I reject Ho.
---
If XCEL gives you the p-value when you
run the Chi-Sq Test you really don't
need the critical value for 1%.
---
Just for you information the degree of freedom
for your test is (# of rows -1)(# of columns -1) = 2*2 = 4
So the critical value from the Chi-Sq Table is 13.277
--------------------
Hope that makes sense.
Cheers,
