Question 244584
Unfortunately, that is incorrect. Let's say we have a simple example of 3 boys and 8 girls. So the ratio of boys to girls is 3 to 8. Now take 2 boys and girls away to get 1 boy and 6 girls. So the ratio is now 1 to 6, which is NOT equivalent to the ratio of 3 to 8. Try other values such as 6 boys and 16 girls and you'll find that the ratio does change.
